To connect a BILL account that is not currently showing as an active connection in your sprchrgr.app account, follow these steps.
- First log into your sprchrgr.app account and click on the Connections navigation link and then the Add Connection button. An option should appear to add a connection for BILL. Click the Connect button to begin the process.
- Your browser will open a new page prompting you to enter your BILL Username or Sync Token Name and Password or Sync Token Value. While entering your BILL username and password is supported it is not considered best practice and if your password is changed the connection will need to be recreated. A Sync Token is a name and password pair separate from the email and password used to log in. The token is strictly for syncing—it can't be used to log into a BILL account.
- Here is how to create a new sync token.
- Log into your BILL account as an administrator.
- Select Settings
- Under Sync & Integrations, select Tokens
- Select New
- Name will auto-populate. This is the value that will be copies into the Sync Token Name box on the sprchrgr.app page.
- Select Save. The token will be generated.
- Write down or copy & paste this token before navigating away from this page, as it is only shared one time. This is the value that will be copies into the Sync Token Value box on the sprchrgr.app page.
- Once completed click the Connect button to successfully add the new BILL account connection to your sprchrgr.app account.
